Can you say SUPER BOAT? Can you say STIHL CHAINSAW? Or is it SUPERBOAT? Either way... What a whole lotta boat!!! These things are monstrous! Better Half and I headed down to the Clearwater waterfront Friday evening to check out the staging of the super boats for the Super Boat National Championship race. Again I say "WOW!"
I was thinking, you gotta really want to show off that million dollar boat to have a special trailer that leans it up like that, so we can all see it better. Then I realized that it is up on edge like that because it is so freaking wide that it can't be driven down the road when in the flat position! Wow, again.
Today, the super boats will be tearing around the Gulf of Mexico off Clearwater Beach in the second and final day of racing. I hope you got a chance to check it out. Blogger Dearest (me) was not able to be there. Oh well. I had a great time checking them out in the 'dry pits' before race day. Very cool, and I got a lot closer.
