Friday I showed you what the beach looks like when you get there early and get a good spot. Today, I show you what it looks like when you get there a little later. You get whatever spot you can find!
Lots of people had the same idea about what a wonderful day it was going to be on the beach. They came in droves. They make the beach what it is, in its other personality. People from all walks of life, from all income levels, from all over the world. But when they walk down the beach in their bathing suit or shorts and t-shirt, they are just like everyone else.
That's Pier 60 in the background. On the left, just before you would get to Pier 60, you will find the Palm Pavilion restaurant and the Palm Pavilion Inn. Just past Pier 60 a little ways, you will find Frenchy's Rockaway restaurant. Come to think of it, the tall building in the near foreground on the left is the Sandpearl Residences building. The Sandpearl Resort is out of view just a little more to the left.
